Immediately after graduating from Chico State in the spring of 2009, I packed up my college life, dropped it off at home in Long Beach and jumped on a plane to Iceland. I had no idea what was ahead of me, the people I’d meet or the things I’d do, but I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. That little island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean provided me with an unbelievable summer and holds a special place in my heart.
